Silverado Acquires Three Memory Care Communities in Texas
Silverado today announces the acquisition of three memory care communities in Texas, one each in Cedar Park, Houston and Plano. Each of the three properties, previously owned by U.S. Memory Care, features approximately 57,000 square feet of space designed to serve as many as 75 residents.
The three properties, built between 2013 and 2014, are located at: 800 C-Bar Ranch Trail, Cedar Park, TX 78613; 3690 Mapleshade Lane, Plano, TX 75075; and 10120 Louetta Road, Houston, TX 77070. Silverado now operates 14 memory care communities, as well as hospice and at-home care services, in the Austin, Houston and Dallas/Fort Worth areas – providing a complete continuum of care.
“We’re excited to welcome these communities into the Silverado family, and we are incredibly proud of our leaders, associates and our association with professionals in the area who make it possible for us to improve the quality of life for those affected by memory impairment,” shares Silverado CEO and Chairman Loren Shook. “Our goal is always to ensure the best possible care and to enrich the lives of our residents, their families and our associates.”
As part of the transition process, Silverado will work closely with the previous operator to ensure that the wellbeing of each resident remains the top priority.
Silverado — with 20 years of dedicated experience caring for people with memory loss of all types and at all stages — operates through a distinct care model that combines the social benefits of a community lifestyle with the support of world-class clinical care. Families will also benefit from current Silverado locations in the area as the company leverages existing experts in the region to better serve residents and their families.
