When living at home is no longer an option for a loved one it doesn’t mean that their days at home are over.
All it means is that it’s time for a different home.

Ms. J and Ms. S's Story
The purpose of this letter is to personally thank those involved with our mother's care. We are continually impressed with the attention and interest she is given at Silverado. In particular, we were so grateful to those who actually drove and accompanied her to doctors’ visits. They all went well beyond the call of duty and did so with a friendly smile. We cannot describe how very important this was at the time!
My mother has benefited tremendously from the activities at Silverado. We extend special thanks to the Director of Resident Engagement and her team, who all went to great lengths to get her involved, and they succeeded. Because of their persistence and talent, she participated and loved it. What an accomplishment!
In addition, there are caretakers and nurses who work so very hard, with the continued patience to do so in a gentle, loving manner. Most recently, we have had the pleasure of observing two newly added caregivers, who both interact with the personality and capabilities that have brought out the best in our mother.
As you know, our mother arrived at Silverado, in a wheel chair, barely able to be lifted, and with little social interaction. In the last couple of months, she has progressed to become the “Social Butterfly of Hummingbird Lane”, traveling through the halls with a walker.
Again, thank you all and congratulations for helping to make our mother a “Silverado Success Story”.
