Celebrating LOVE with Silverado
Featuring artwork by Silverado residents
Valentine’s Day is a holiday to celebrate love, and since love is a central part of Silverado’s philosophy, it’s a special time of year for us. You will often see the phrase “LOVE is Greater than fear” used regarding how we operate. Silverado’s associates make choices and act on the greatest positive emotion: love. From the little things, like smiles and hugs, to our more extensive life-enriching undertakings, operating from a core of love has shown us that there is no better way to help achieve our goal of making the world a better place.
This affirmative view of addressing the needs of our clients, residents, patients and their families has allowed us to enrich not only their lives, but the lives of our associates as well. The “LOVE is Greater than fear” philosophy inspires associates to strengthen relationships inside and outside the workplace. It’s created positive energy and a sense of pride that has helped us become a shining beacon in many of the communities we serve.
While love is an everyday part of what we do, Valentine’s Day allows us an opportunity to reflect upon how this affects those we help. We’d like to share some of our favorite stories from the past year that we feel demonstrate love in action at Silverado, and it’s our hope that these will inspire you to share love in the same way they have inspired us.
