Silverado Continues to Grow
Within the past few months Silverado has celebrated several milestones, including the grand openings of brand-new memory care communities in Peoria, Arizona and Fort Worth, Texas, and the official grand opening of the fully transformed Silverado Oak Village in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. Each community commemorated their grand openings with ribbon cutting ceremonies attended by local city officials as well as the communities’ first residents and their families. The new communities’ teams each greeted more than 200 guests with tours, live music, hors d’oeuvres and a welcome from Silverado leadership.
It doesn’t take new residents long to reconnect with favorite pastimes, as was seen just after Silverado Peoria’s opening. Mary Beth took piano lessons from about the age of four through her high school years. She played often as an adult, but life’s moves took her away from the
instrument she loved.
Within a week of living at Silverado Peoria, Mary Beth found herself tickling the ivories once again. She claims that “as long as it’s with one finger” she does fine, but with the assistance of Silverado’s engagement associates, who encourage her and bring her sheet music, she has been entertaining other residents, teaching children and has rediscovered the joy of music.
The grand openings of these two beautiful new Arizona and Texas communities and the transformation of Silverado Oak Village mark an exciting chapter in Silverado’s journey to enrich the lives of even more residents and their families.
Silverado’s growth continues this year with the upcoming grand opening of a new community in Bee Cave, Texas (Austin area).
