Recently residents at Silverado Onion Creek showcased their artistic creativity in a silent auction to benefit Alzheimer’s Texas in Austin. From vibrant watercolors to handmade jewelry to still life photography, the show featured more than 60 original pieces
Participation in purposeful activities, like using their talents contributing to a cause such as Alzheimer’s research, has been proven to be beneficial to those facing the challenges of memory impairments. That’s why it’s a big part of the Nexus at Silverado program.
