Hospice Liaison Creates a Gift with Heart and Hands
Taylor Patterson is a Liaison at Silverado Hospice in Dallas. He exemplifies the heart and desire to help that defines what it means to work in hospice. Recently Taylor’s caring nature made a very special difference that touched many hearts.
When one of Taylor’s hospice patients was unable to climb the stairs to her home, Taylor used his past construction experience to build a ramp (pictured above). While this alone shows Taylor’s deep compassion, the act had even more meaning — the wood he used to build the ramp came from the very deck he stood on when he proposed to his wife overlooking a lake several years ago.
While Taylor didn’t build the ramp for thanks or recognition, we’re happy to share his kind act here and let his kindness warm hearts!
