Intergenerational love on Valentine's Day

Many of our residents have lost their significant others, so this Valentine's Day, we wanted to remind them that they are loved. Our community was visited by children from Montessori Kingdom of Learning. The children brought in homemade Valentine's Cards to give to each resident and sang songs.

These children are primary students, in Ms. Monique and Ms. Tiffani's classes. They have been working diligently on their Valentine cards all week for the residents, who they referred to as their "grandparents." As the children handed the residents their cards, the residents, in return, gave them each a stuffed animal! For the students, this was also a great opportunity to get involved in community service and they learned the value of giving back to the community.

The residents and children enjoyed an amazing day full of love!
