Proceeds from the exhibit and auction along with a donation from Silverado Scottsdale benefited the Alzheimer’s Association-Desert Southwest Chapter.

"The Silverado Scottsdale resident is known for capturing scenes from the Southwest through her depiction of ancient Native American pottery and landscapes. Her prints and paintings have been exhibited in galleries in Japan, Maryland, Texas, California and New Mexico, according to a press release.

Ms. English’s work has also hung in galleries and shows throughout Arizona including Scottsdale, Tucson, Sedona and Wickenburg. She was featured in “International Artist Magazine –Master Painters of the World,” North American Showcase as well as in the “Art of the West” magazine. In addition, her artwork has been published by Leanin’ Tree greeting cards, the release stated...

'Cheryl has made such an impact on Southwestern art,' stated Senior Community Ambassador Dan Harrah, in the release. 'We’re highlighting the years of work and achievement she has enjoyed with some of her very best pieces.  This exhibit and auction will bring everyone together for a great cause.'”
