Zin Kinolik, former Head Coach of South Korean and Chinese Taipei National Team, has trained UCLA and USA gymnasts Michelle Selesky and Allison Stoner. Here at Silverado Sierra Vista, he continues his morning conditioning regimen. With six-pound weights, he does 10-minute reps of various movements. Zin began training when he was a young boy in the Soviet Union, and, even today, incorporates 10 minutes of exercise and healthy eating, favoring chicken breast and vegetables. Kin recalls his special time in South Korea leading the gymnastic teams during the 1988 Olympics. Surprisingly, the team members didn’t require modified diets, “Just regular meals, but four hours of training every day!”
