Thanksgiving Dinner and Artshow

Location : Newport Mesa

An Evening to Remember

On November 21, 2013, Silverado Newport Mesa held a truly memorable event. It was a Thanksgiving dinner for the residents and family members of Newport Mesa. The evening was not just any Thanksgiving dinner.

As guests walked into the community, they were served wine and delectable o'dourves. The musical notes from our live musicians' saxophone and harp carried throughout the halls. The absolutely delicious dinner prepared by Chef Modesto Truillo was a four course meal served on fine china. Beautiful fresh flowers and fall decor were abundant throughout the community making it an extra pleasurable environment.

Prior to dinner and after dinner, guests had the opportunity to view and purchase artwork which had been created by residents in the Memories in the Making program. The talent displayed by these individuals is absolutely amazing. Over $1,000 in proceeds went to benefit the Alzheimer's Association. The evening's success is a result  Silverado's compassion and dedication to residents and family members.
