Walk to End Alzheimer's

11/7/2015
Location : Newport Mesa

This year’s Alzheimer’s Walk, hosted on Saturday November 7th was held at the beautiful and sunny Huntington Beach pier. This year turned out to be a huge success - we helped raisse more than $2,000!

Our very own residents, in preparation and support of those walking, made more than 300 healthy trail mix snacks during our Nexus based activity: Helping Hands. While our residents participated in and completed the two mile walk they spoke about how wonderful it was for them to be part of something so important. One resident voiced, “I’m so grateful to the youngsters for their great spirit and support of the cause.”
