Ash's Adventures

Location : Los Angeles Hospice

Ash Collage

When hospice nurse, Renate, heard her patient, Anneliese, loved dogs, the first thing she did was coordinate a visit from our pet therapy dog, Ash. A week later, Ash came to visit Anneliese with our Volunteer Coordinator. It was a match made in heaven and now Anneliese and Ash are close friends.

Ash visits a few times per month and loves to sit at her bedside while she pets his soft head. Anneliese loves to feed him treats and knows all the commands to have him do special tricks. All the hospice team members say that, after a visit from Ash, she will talk about how cute and furry he is for many days after.
