Silverado Honored with 2016 Alzheimer’s Association Corporate Award at The Chicago Rita Hayworth Gala
We’re pleased to announce that Silverado has been awarded the 2016 Alzheimer’s Association Corporate Award for its dedication to enriching lives, honoring the human spirit and redefining memory care. As a company founded on innovation, with the goal of changing the way the world cares for and perceives people affected with memory loss, Silverado continues to pioneer advances in memory care.
More than 800 guests attended the annual springtime gala to recognize advances made in the fight against Alzheimer’s and rally around the growing movement to end the disease. This year’s theme, “Time Is Of The Essence” paid tribute to the more than 210,000 residents from Illinois and the five million Americans who are living with the disease, and the future generations that will be affected unless treatment, prevention and ultimately a cure is found.
Silverado Chief Executive Officer & Chairman Loren Shook during the event said, “We share with each and every one of you the hope and dream of someday finding a cure for Alzheimer’s disease! I am confident that standing together, we will prevail and find the cure we all seek against this devastating disease. Until then, we will continue to pioneer a quality of life never before imagined."
