Loft residents enjoy Halloween treats and a special performance!

The Phantom of the Opera makes an appearance at Silverado Beverly Place in Los Angeles! Our Loft residents celebrated the spooky season with delectable Halloween-themed treats and appetizers and a special performance of pieces from the Phantom of the Opera musical. The two performers, Sherrill and Katherine, are experienced musicians who regularly play at memory care communities, bringing joy to residents with the beautiful sounds of their instruments and singing.

Music has been linked to improved moods and engagement among those living with memory impairment. Familiar and favorable tunes serve as a connection between the individual and memories of life before their diagnosis. And it was only fitting that we went with songs from the Phantom of the Opera to set the mood for the frightfully festive holiday.
