Residents participate in the 2018 Midterm Elections!

Today, a few residents living at the Loft at Silverado Beverly Place walked to the polls to cast their votes in the US midterm elections. As they waited in line, they spoke about how excited they were to exercise this right.

One resident described her experience as fulfilling and joyous. One residents remarked, “It was a pleasant feeling at the polls today. The people were interested in making sure everyone understood where to go and what to do to cast their vote in the way they wanted to do so.”  Another resident stated, “I felt a sense of great camaraderie there."

One of our residents explained her favorite part of voting, “I treasure my ability to vote. People living in some other countries don’t have the ability to vote, and so it feels good to vote today. It was fun and I didn’t know it would be so easy!”
