The Magic is in the Moment
The Silverado At Home team understands that individual moments truly matter for someone affected by a memory-impairing diseases. That's why every At Home care team works with clients, friends and family to help bring special moments to life.
Recently, the team in Los Angeles had an opportunity to be a part of a special outing.
A client, Veanne - who lives at Silverado Beverly Place Memory Care Community - had a longstanding tradition of enjoying dinner at the California Yacht Club in Marina del Rey with friends and family. Although Veanne had recently been limited to indoor activities, her friend Dan worked with the At Home care team to arrange for a magical evening at the club.
After careful planning by her personal attendant, Veanne and Dan set out for the California Yacht Club on a warm winter evening. Upon their arrival at the club, members of her family were waiting for her as an extra special surprise. Immediately, all who attended could see the joy on Veanne's face as an evening under the glow of the stars with the sparkle of a nighttime ocean surrounded her.
Moments like this happen regularly for Silverado At Home clients. Each care team is focused on more than top-quality care - they focus also on friendship, tradition and moments that are meaningful for clients and their families and friends.
