Testimonial: "My family feels so lucky to have found this place."
"My mom has been a resident there for a little over a year. We first put my my mom at another memory care facility (that was not Silverado) that had no business caring for late stage dementia patients. After the most horrible month and a half & multiple ER visits, we finally moved her to Silverado. Within days they picked up my mother and her belongings and immediately started providing the kind of care my mom needed. They were so supportive to my entire family during the difficult transition of not only moving her to a home, but from another place which was not right for her. During just a couple of weeks there, we noticed such a change in her. The staff was anxious to learn about her likes and dislikes and to this day continue to be very responsive and attentive to her needs. She is as happy as she can possibly be in her condition and the staff goes above and beyond to make her comfortable.
I live out of state so it is difficult for me to visit especially with my young children, but I find peace knowing that she is in good hands there. There is always a nurse on duty and plenty of staff there to tend to the needs of all their residents.
My family feels so lucky to have found this place because caring for her at home was no longer an option and Silverado provides a family friendly comfortable place for the last stage of her life. It is so hard to watch your loved one slip away as Alzheimer's or dementia progresses and it is hard when there comes a day that you are no longer able to care for them at home. When that day comes, places like Silverado make that transition so much easier. Not only do they specialize in just memory care, but they make sure the staff and management team can handle any situation. So thank you to all the caregivers and staff at Silverado Tustin for all that you do!!!"
