Testimonial: "Silverado has proven to be all we had hoped for Mother..."
"My mother joined the Silverado community, in Highland Park, Illinois in early 2013. At the time, we were just coming out of a period of crisis, unsure of my mother’s long term, assisted care needs. Like most, we knew we had limited resources, but also knew that we wanted the highest possible level of care, assistance, and attention for Mother. We wanted her to feel at home, but to also be safe, secure, and able to improve her condition. We’ve been pleased to find that Silverado has proven to be all we had hoped for Mother.
At the time, this community had only recently been established. While new, it was clear it had an experienced management team and was part of a larger operation that was at once well suited to the local community, but with strong, corporate standards. We chose Silverado because of its emphasis on personal attention, the relatively small size of its population, its cost model, and close proximity to Mother’s former home.
In the seven months Mother has been with Silverado, her health has significantly improved, she has become more mobile, and perhaps most importantly, she has come to think of Silverado as home – comfortable with her neighbors and the staff, and confident in them. We are very grateful for Silverado, and look forward to a long term relationship.
