PHOTOS: Greenhouse Opening!
Residents, family champions, volunteers and associates celebrated the opening of the greenhouse for the second season. Residents and attendees enjoyed garden art classes and mud pie! Everyone in the community were very festive and wore flowers on their shirts or in their hair. Residents were seen planting spring flowers and smiling and laughing all day!
The greenhouse is a huge part of daily living for the residents here. In the spring, residents plant all kinds of flowers, plants, herbs, and vegetables that will later be transplanted to the outdoor gardening areas.
We want to thank the Wannamaker family, Char Baker, Sally Lillig, Susan Schiera, and our engagement team, Cindy, Trisha, Jaime, Pam, and Robyn, for helping with the greenhouse reopening!
