Silverado Caregiver Gets Her U.S. Citizenship
In June 2009, Prisca moved to the United States from Gabon, a French speaking country located in Central Africa. Prisca started her journey in New Jersey and later moved to the Chicagoland area. In November 2014, Prisca walked through the doors of Silverado Naperville to apply for a position within.
Prisca says she knew immediately after walking through the doors that this was the place she would work. "It was very clean, had a special feeling, and I just knew it was a nice place to work," said Prisca of Naperville. Prisca wanted to become a US citizen and live in the land of the free.
Her dream finally came true in December 2015. We asked her what was the main reason she wanted to become a U.S. citizen and her response was because she wanted to be able to vote. Prisca has been a true asset to Silverado Naperville, even earning the honor of associate of the month. She really truly has a great heart and helps us in our mission of changing lives!
