Testimonial: "Silverado is way above other memory care communities - they provide love, care, and support."
"My husband is a resident at Silverado Naperville, and it has been a wonderful experience from the first day. Please know that my husband's dementia is NOT Alzheimer's, and causes behavioral issues that were poorly handled by a different facility, causing me to have to relocate my husband.
All staff at Silverado were aware of the type of dementia and how to approach issues. They have ongoing training. There is love and joy expressed by workers towards my husband. He feels well liked and comfortable.
Frequent communication between on-site PT, OT, speech therapists and nurses and caregivers has allowed my husband to be cared for in very creative, supportive ways. His doctor - who is not on Silverado staff- has commented on how much easier she can get help from his nurses, obtain records, and communicate necessary care changes than at his first place.
There is much support for the family. Placing my husband of 20 years in a memory care facility was the hardest decision I ever had to make. I was supported by the administrative staff, social worker, front desk staff, maintenance staff - everyone cares. Silverado is way above other memory care [communities] - they provide love, care, and support."
