Nexus in Action: Resident Cookout

11/29/2016
Location : Onion Creek

At Silverado, we base our Nexus program in scientific findings that show purposeful activities can lead to a healthier brain and improved cognitive function. We incorporate purposeful activities in our daily engagements and one example of this is our recent cookout. When our team discovered that Silverado resident Jonie Hartman was the grill master in his family, we planned a cook out for him to showcase his skills. While our culinary team helped, he ran the grill most of the afternoon!
