Silverado Administrator Shares Her Expertise
Being a trusted resource within our industry, Silverado administrators are often asked to share our knowledge and experience with others. Recently Silverado’s Rose Vera was invited to speak at the Texas Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program and share her expertise on memory loss with over 90 attendees.
An experienced administrator currently working to open our upcoming Bee Cave, TX location, Rose brought her tremendous background to a discussion of the symptoms and treatment for vascular dementia, Lewy-Body, Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy and Alzheimer’s. She also provided insight on the current assisted living landscape in Texas, nationwide assisted living industry standards, communication with providers and the future of memory care.
As the need for innovative, specialized memory care continues to grow, Silverado recognizes the importance of lending our expertise to other organizations in the communities in which we operate. By serving as an Alzheimer’s and dementia resource to caregivers, social workers and other assisted living facilities, the community as a whole will have a better understanding of memory-impairing diseases and continue to enrich the lives of those affected by dementia.
