Silverado Bee Cave Resident Reconnects with Favorite Pastimes
After extensive preparation and planning, the Silverado Bee Cave Memory Care Community officially opened its doors on earlier this year. The Bee Cave community includes all of the life-enriching features and amenities Silverado residents and family members have come to know and expect and will provide care for up to 90 residents. The skill and expertise learned in almost two decades of memory care helped inform every stage of Bee Cave’s construction.
Already, the Silverado Bee Cave team serves 20 residents at the new community each day.
Once residents move in it doesn’t take them long to reconnect with favorite pastimes, as we see with Doris Allen, one of Bee Cave’s first residents. Doris always enjoyed playing the game of golf, however, as time passed, life’s obstacles pulled her away from her passion. Within her first month at Silverado Bee Cave, she found herself sinking putts at the community’s outdoor putting green. With the encouragement of the Bee Cave team, Doris has reconnected with her passion and is ready to pick up the club and enjoy the fresh air on the greens once again.
Silverado Administrator Rose Vera leads the Bee Cave team of dedicated memory care associates. Rose joined Silverado more than two years ago, introducing Silverado’s first community in Austin, Onion Creek. With more than 15 years of experience in assisted living and memory care, Rose is excited to lead the Silverado Bee Cave team in enriching the lives of those affected by memory loss.
