Silverado Hosts Legislative Staff and Advocates for the Memory Impaired

Silverado hosted 13 key legislative staff members for a day designed to convey what true assisted living and memory care are all about. Senate and House staff that are vital to Texas’ regulatory climate visited 3 assisted living communities in one day. The crowning jewel of the day was the final stop on the tour - Silverado.

Guests toured the community, engaged with residents, asked a whole lot of questions, and enjoyed an incredible lunch prepared by Silverado’s own culinary crew.

Diana Martinez, TALA’s VP of Public Policy said, “ I could not have been anymore please with the day and was delighted that Silverado rose to the occasion. Educating the people at the Capitol that help make policy is critical to ensuring fair and good public policy on assisted living issues.”
