Silverado Resident Reconnects with Childhood Passion

Location : Bee Cave
Silver Polishing

Silverado resident Junee grew up helping her mother in their family's antique shop. Throughout her childhood, she assisted her mother in polishing and restoring their fine antiques. Once Silverado Director of Resident Engagement Marilyn Sibley heard about Junee's childhood hobby, she thought it would be a great idea to find silver at secondhand shops for Junee to restore.

Junee's beautifully polished pieces are featured throughout our community and often showcased during our events. Junee first came to Silverado with many limitations but after connecting with her lifelong hobby, she is now participating in many social engagements and even partaking in our Nexus program activities.
