A Day at the Farm
Residents spend the day at P-6 Farms
Residents of Cypresswood and Hermann Park recently took a trip to P-6 Farms. It was a beautiful, fun-filled day enjoyed by all those who attended. There were various activities to partake in and not a single moment went by that wasn't met with smiles and laughter.
Some of our residents enjoyed finding their way out of a corn maze, which was even shaped in recognition of the 2017 World Series Champions, the Astros! Our residents also had a great time on the hay ride out to the pumpkin patch and got a chance to see some friendly cows and a lovely pond. Another part of the day was spent at the apple shooter, where residents got a chance to practice their aim by shooting some apples in an open field.
However, the highlight of the day was definitely the pig races, where four adorable piglets competed against each other on a dirt track, complete with hurdles and a trough filled with muddy water. The residents absolutely loved watching these little pigs racing towards the finish line, evidenced by the non-stop laughter and cheerfulness.
This outing was a great opportunity for our residents to enjoy some fresh air and spend some quality time with others.
