    Why choose Silverado?

    Open/close panel

Many families shared the peace of mind they experienced when they finally chose Silverado after wrestling with feelings of guilt that comes from deciding to reach out for help. Even a family working together cannot replicate what an expert team of professionals who do this for a living and get to go home at night and rest can provide. Even superhuman strength eventually gives out. Once families make a move to Silverado and see that their loved one is better off and they can sleep again, the common refrain is, “I should have moved my loved one in earlier.” They are relieved to be the daughter, son, husband, or wife again and not the caregiver.

We want to reassure you that we understand that no one knows your loved one more than you do. We are the experts in what we do, having led the way in memory care for over 20 years. Families have shared they recognized that a delay in placement is a delay in care in treating this illness, and we know that a delay can result in a dangerous crisis for the exhausted caregiver or your loved one. Do not wait for an emergency. We invite you to give us a call at (713) 521-0169 and schedule a time to visit Silverado Hermann Park.

In fact, we’re so confident that Silverado is the best choice to provide for your loved one’s needs we offer a satisfaction pledge unequaled in memory care.

We look forward to meeting you soon.

Hailea was born in Longview, TX. Once she graduated with her Master’s in Social Work, she worked as a hospice social worker for more than five years. Hailea and her family then moved to Houston, TX in 2017. Her passion has always been to work for others, particularly those within the geriatric population. That is when she found Silverado! Hailea has been with Silverado Hermann Park since July 2018 and is a member of the Houston Gerontological Society..

    Director of Culinary Services

Maurice is originally from New Orleans, and grew up watching his grandmother’s and mom’s cooking and seeing how happy it made their friends and family. He now enjoys making people happy himself through the food he and his culinary team prepares. Maurice started out as a certified nursing aide in senior living. When he learned he could combine his love of caring for others with his passion for the culinary arts, he attended culinary school. Maurice has developed a real talent for not only preparing great food but also serving people who have special nutritional needs and therapeutic diets. He knows that he is making a difference in the lives of our residents every day through the art of food.
