Visit with Congressman Brady's Conroe Office
Advocacy visit made in support of the HELP act
On Friday, March 14, 2014, Director of Family and Support Lueata Evenson visited the Conroe office of Congressman Kevin Brady to advocate for the HELP Act. Those included were Todd Stephens, District Director for Mr. Brady and Russell Martinez, Deputy District Director. The conversation was very informative with Mr. Stephens’s gathering information for the Congressman to read and go over before the NHPCO Conference in Washington, D.C. March 27 through March 29th.
"Should his heart break and the grief pour out, it would flow over the whole earth, it seems, and yet, no one sees it."
"When we need these healing times, there is nothing better than a good long walk."
"That day is lost on which one has not laughed."
