The View from Valley Ranch

Around the world people celebrate the Lunar New Year, including Silverado Valley Ranch. This year Chinese New Year fell on January 31 and welcomed the year of the horse.

Valley Ranch celebrated with Chinese foods including rice cookies, rice pudding, sugar cane and guava juices, mangoes, fried rice, and egg rolls served at various times throughout the day. Several Chinese outfits and hats were worn by associates and residents. Chinese decorations, videos, and music were featured.  The highlight was an outing to see the Mustangs of Las Colinas sculpture to celebrate the year of the horse.
