Meet Kati Rogers, our new Director of Resident and Family Services
Kati Rogers is the new Director of Resident and Family Services at Silverado Valley Ranch. Kati is originally from Austin, Texas, but she grew up in the North Texas Area. She is the oldest of three siblings including a brother and sister who both live in the area. She enjoys spending time going to the lake, fishing, and traveling in general. Kati takes three or four planned trips a year, but ends up going on spontaneous excursions about once a month!
Kati has worked in the “helping” profession since 2005, including working with DADS, Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services. She officially became a Social Worker in 2010 when she received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of North Texas. She then received her Masters in Social Work in 2012 from Texas A&M University.
Kati then worked with the Children’s Advocacy Center in Collin County. She also has experience working with a multidisciplinary team with the State of Texas, including 22 different jurisdictions of law enforcement. She is experienced in community work, grant writing and special events. When asked about her new position at Silverado Valley Ranch, Kati replied, “I look forward to enriching the lives of our residents. I want to aid in building bridges between our family members and all levels of associates at Silverado Valley Ranch.”
