National Volunteer Week

Location : Valley Ranch

According to the Points of Light website, National Volunteer Week is April 12-18, 2015. It was established in 1974 and has grown exponentially each year. Silverado Valley Ranch is celebrating National Volunteer Week by acknowledging the efforts of Tina Allman. Tina is a volunteer who helps to do resident hair and makeup. Tina has come to Silverado Valley Ranch two or three days a week for the past five years. Barbara Dillard, our Stylist said, “Tina stocks the salon with towels from the laundry, soap and paper towels. She helps get residents. She never asks anything for it.”

Thank you Tina, and thank you to the many volunteers who spend countless hours enriching the lives of our residents at Silverado Valley Ranch.
