Silverado Hospice Patient Wishes Granted: Wedding Ceremony, Red Lobster Dinner
On Friday, October 25, through Silverado Hospice, 50-year-old Richmond resident Morrissia Sauer and her husband were served a special Red Lobster dinner hosted by the Sugar Land, Texas restaurant at the couple's home. Morrissia, who was recently diagnosed with end stage heart disease, shared her bucket list with Silverado Hospice. In addition to the team working directly with Darden Restaurants ‹ owner of Red Lobster who graciously offered to donate the meal after hearing her story ‹ Silverado will host a wedding ceremony for Morrissia and her husband in the coming weeks. Although married, the couple never celebrated with a formal ceremony. The special day will take place at the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart in Houston, and will be performed by the hospice chaplain. Silverado offers three different services Hospice Care, At Home Care and about 30 memory-care communities in eight states. To learn more, please visit SilveradoCare.com.
