Testimonial: "Silverado has made a significant difference in our lives..."
"My wife began her stay at Silverado The Woodlands on April 1, 2013. As this first year has come to an end, and my family and I look back over this year, we realized the significant difference that Silverado has made in her and our lives.
Barbara had already been staying at an assisted living community in The Woodlands when we reached the decision to relocate to Silverado. The decision did not come easy, but was helped by the assistance of Barbara’s primary neurologist, Dr. Stanley Fisher, and the staff at Silverado. Dr. Fisher, I should note, also visits a number of residents at Silverado periodically, and the move has resulted in saving our family a tremendous amount of time and energy by not having to take Barbara down to the Medical Center to see Dr. Fisher for appointments.
The primary difference that my family and I have noted in Barbara over the past year is her involvement in the number of activities available at Silverado and the amount of staff caring for her needs. Barbara is, and always has been, a very social person. While the previous assisted living facility did have activities available for their residents, they did not match the amount of activities and other interests occurring at Silverado. The staff at Silverado are greater in number and can provide more personal assistance to the residents.
My daughters and I also appreciate the amount of time and effort by the staff in reaching out to our family to participate in the different family activities occurring at Silverado which allow us to be a part of Barbara's experience of residing at Silverado. We also enjoy the monthly outside “happy hours” for the families arranged and hosted by the Silverado staff. They have now become a regular part of our monthly routine.
Again, my family would like to thank all the staff at Silverado for all their help and assistance with Barbara during her stay at your wonderful facility."
