Residents and families enjoy a fun-filled and festive holiday season

Residents and their friends and families all had a wonderful season of celebration at Silverado Alexandria! Our community was decorated beautifully in holiday lights and more as the season kicked off with our first annual Hanukkah celebration. The very lively teen youth group from local Alexandria's Agudas Achim Synagogue visited our community and led everyone in song as they carried out a menorah lighting and then spent some on-on-one time with our residents.

Creativity was the name of the game as residents had the opportunity to flex their artistic skills as they decorated many beautiful and elaborate Gingerbread Houses and enjoyed a scenic Christmas lights tour.

The fun continued at our very funny "Ugly Sweater Party", where team members and our leadership team, pictured above, all joined in the fun with the residents and guests who really enjoyed all of the delicious food and seasonal live music!

The amazing month came to a conclusion with the celebration of our Christmas Family Dinner and entertainment. Guests and residents enjoyed a delicious meal and seasonal music, and of course, the arrival of Santa Claus, which brought delight to all!

Our community was blessed with so many beautiful holiday moments this season. We are looking forward to 2019! Happy New Year!
