Rosanne Telfer and Kyra Jones were able to enjoy the Grandparents Day festivities at Shady Lane Elementary School in Menomonee Falls, WI. Rosanne and Krya first met at Silverado Oak Village. Rosanne is a resident and Kyra comes to work with her Mom, Krystal, a nurse at Silverado Oak Village, whenever she can.
Roseanne and Kyra immediately clicked when they first met and quickly became close buddies. They even call each other's respective adopted grandmother and adopted granddaughter! The two of them enjoy reading to one another, eating meals, participating in the engagement programs and doing art projects together.
When Kyra heard about Grandparents Day at her school, she asked her Mom if she could bring her adopted Grandmother, Rosanne, with her. Rosanne and her daughter accepted the invitation and Kyra was able to show them her school and enjoy the Grandparent's Day activities.
