In celebration of Make Someone Smile Week, residents at Silverado Memory Care Community in Menomonee Falls received a surprise visit on Thursday, July 24 from a local florists -- Bank of Memories and Flowers. Each of Silverado's 40 residents received an ivy plant arrangement in a Be Happy Mug. The visit is a part of a 14-year tradition in which Teleflora flower delivery brings smiles to senior citizens' faces during Make Someone Smile Week. This year, more than 1,000 florists donated their time to rally volunteers and deliver the arrangements. Last year's program spanned 170 cities and delivered more than 25,000 bouquets.
