Testimonial: "Mom's needs are all taken care of..."

Location : Oak Village

"My mother is a resident. Since Silverado bought this facility things are So....... good. Mom's needs are all taken care of. Every time I go to see her she is content. I do believe this is because her caregivers work with her, not on her. They are engaged with Mom, not just doing 'the work'.

The nursing staff is great. If Mom has an issue they are right on it before it can develop into a major problem. Their knowledge of Mom's status is so thorough that they will often make recommendations to the doctor. They are very good about keeping me updated.

The activities are wonderful. They provide different activities depending on their cognitive level. The activities address every sense. The activities surpass the standard beach ball volley ball and bingo. Various professional come in  to lead an activity like yoga, watercolors, or drumming.

The food is very good. I like joining Mom for lunch because Justin is such a good chef. They also use lots of fresh foods. No canned mixed vegetables or thaw and microwave chicken breasts. They serve fresh green salad, mixed greens not just iceberg lettuce, with goodies, tomato or cucumber. My mouth waters when I think of the fresh pies. I like Oak Village so much I would like to live there!"
