Carla Miller

Carla was born and raised in the small town of Clintonville, Wisconsin, where she was lovingly raised by her mother, Maizie, and her grandparents. At just sixteen, she met her future husband, Basil, at a church camp—a meeting that would shape her life. The two married and went on to raise their daughters, Jenny and Melissa.

Carla worked as a bank teller at Commerce Bank, a role well suited to her friendly and outgoing nature. She has always been social and quick to make friends, bringing warmth wherever she goes. Carla enjoys shopping, dining out, reading, visiting antique stores, watching movies, playing solitaire, and solving word searches. She and Basil were deeply involved in their church and shared a love of travel, and some of Carla’s favorite memories are the stories from their many adventures together.

“Where we walked together, love remains.” — Unknown

Hand in Hand

These colorful homes reminded me of the ones my husband Basil and I saw when we traveled to San Francisco. We used to walk hand in hand down streets lined with houses just like these—bright, cheerful, and full of charm. Traveling together was one of our greatest joys, and this photo brings back those precious memories. When I see places like this, I feel close to him all over again.
