Sparking remembrance, expression and connection through photography.   Celebrating each resident's unique spirit - their loves, interests, and motivations - is a cornerstone of the life-enriching care at Silverado. As dementia progresses and memories fade further, holding onto these things becomes ever more important. The Silverado Resident Photo Project was conceived as a unique way to help celebrate what makes residents special, helping them both face the challenges of the disease and build on a legacy their family and friends will cherish. In Silverado communities throughout the nation, residents were provided with cameras to document the world through their own unique perspectives.
