Kamila Smith serves as Business Office Manager at Silverado Berkeley, where she brings a strong commitment to teamwork, culture, and community. She values being part of a collaborative, mission-driven environment and takes pride in supporting residents, families, and team members.
Kamila’s connection to working with seniors is deeply personal. Her grandmother’s diagnosis of vascular dementia inspired her to dedicate her career to supporting those living with memory impairment and to be part of an organization whose culture makes a meaningful and lasting impact. She found that sense of purpose and belonging at Silverado, where the mission aligns closely with her own values.
Kamila is currently completing her associate’s degree in business administration and plans to pursue a bachelor’s degree in the same field. Born and raised in the Bay Area, she also spent several formative years in Napoleonville, Louisiana with her mother’s family. Outside of work, Kamila enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, cooking, taking mini adventures, and relaxing with the occasional binge-watching session.
