Originally from California, Margarita began her professional journey in Austin, where she built a career in the beauty industry and naturally stepped into leadership roles rooted in patience, teamwork, and encouragement. Over time, she felt drawn to a more meaningful purpose—supporting individuals and families during important life transitions—which led her into hospice care.
Her work with hospice families profoundly shaped her approach to service, strengthening her commitment to compassionate support and deepening her desire to serve older adults, particularly those living with memory loss. Margarita’s gentle leadership style—grounded in empathy, presence, and understanding—continues to guide her work.
Now at Silverado Barton Springs, Margarita proudly embraces Silverado’s philosophy of Living while you’re living. As a Family Ambassador, she is honored to support families with warmth, clarity, and reassurance, serving as a trusted guide throughout their journey. Outside of work, Margarita enjoys spending time with her dogs and exploring Austin’s local restaurants and coffee shops.
