Monica Linsangan — Director of Resident EngagementMonica Linsangan serves as the Director of Resident Engagement, where she is passionate about creating meaningful experiences, fostering connection, and building a strong sense of community. What she enjoys most about serving residents and their families is bringing people together, creating lasting memories, and helping everyone feel seen, valued, and at home.Monica has a diverse background in recreational therapy and has worked with individuals across a variety of settings, including schools, programs serving people with developmental disabilities, group homes, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, and senior living communities. Her experiences across these different populations have shaped her passion for meeting people where they are and finding meaningful ways to help them connect, engage, and enjoy life.In addition to her professional work, Monica is deeply committed to service and volunteers with grief camps, hospitals, and interfaith councils. Through these experiences, she supports individuals and families through moments of healing, reflection, and community connection.Outside of work, Monica enjoys swimming, paddleboarding, improv, and stand-up comedy. She loves staying active, trying new things, being creative, and finding opportunities to laugh and connect with others. She is also currently pursuing her master’s degree in Recreational Therapy, continuing to grow her knowledge and passion for helping others find purpose, connection, and joy through meaningful experiences.
