Tin joins the Silverado family with a lifelong passion for cooking, first sparked while working in the kitchens of other senior living communities. Eager to refine his craft, he studied at the Art Institute of California, where he mastered the fundamentals of French cuisine. His very first role in the industry—as a server—taught him the value of teamwork, a lesson that continues to shape his leadership style as Director of Culinary Services.
Tin’s love and appreciation for food were nurtured at a young age by his mother, whose influence instilled in him the belief that great cooking starts with fresh ingredients and respect for the craft.
Outside of Silverado, Tin finds daily inspiration in his wife and children, who motivate him to be the best chef and leader he can be. Looking ahead, he is committed to sharing his knowledge and mentoring the next generation of cooks, passing along his culinary techniques and passion for food.
