Community Team

Providing the high levels of care and service for which Silverado is known takes a team of skilled, compassionate individuals. By combining their talents and bringing their skills and dedication together, the associates who make up each Silverado Community’s team can deliver care that is truly on the next level.

Administrator

The Administrator oversees and leads all aspects of the community’s operations. From overseeing daily functions, personnel and activities to spending time each day with residents and families, Administrators are truly involved in every part of making sure their community delivers top-notch care.

Medical Director

Each Silverado has its own dedicated physician Medical Director with experience in gerontology, neurology or other dementia-related backgrounds. As leaders in their field, they guide care at Silverado communities and offer unparalleled insight into how residents can live their best lives.

Director of Health Services (DHS)

Responsible for leading the community’s nursing staff and supervising the general day-to-day management of clinical practices, the DHS is an experienced nurse who uses their skills to provide a high level of clinical oversight to ensuring residents’ physical health and wellbeing.

Director of Resident and Family Services (DRFS)

The DRFS is a licensed social worker who supports families by developing and providing ongoing updates to residents’ care plans. The DRFS sets expectations and communicates status and progress, and often conducts support groups within the community to help families contend with the emotions that arise from their loved one’s illness.

Director of Resident Engagement (DRE)

Activities are a key part of keeping residents living engaged, purposeful lives, and the DRE is in charge of developing and facilitating engagement programs to fit with the unique needs of different resident neighborhoods within the community.

Community Ambassador

Making Silverado’s unique style of care known throughout the wider local community is the job of Community Ambassadors. They serve as resources and educators to medical professionals and institutions, helping keep them aware of how Silverado changes lives.

Family Ambassador

Often the first person our families meet when coming to Silverado, Family Ambassadors provide education and guidance on not just the process of finding care, but of the disease process itself. Family Ambassadors are an excellent resource to families’ needs regarding financial, emotional, spiritual and medical needs.

Director of Culinary

Serving delicious, nutritious food is a cornerstone of keeping residents happy and healthy, and the Culinary Director sees to this by planning, directing and overseeing all aspects of community’s menu. This includes ensuring that food is high quality, presented well and meets the unique restrictions of any residents with special dietary needs.

Director of Plant Operations (DPO)

The DPO ensures the physical community in which the residents live is safe, beautiful, clean and enriching, They are responsible for facilities planning and management, overseeing housekeeping, maintenance and groundskeeping while also ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and guidelines.
