Hospice Patient Celebrates a Special Anniversary

All year we've been celebrating our 25th anniversary with some amazing stories, and this one involves another 25th anniversary - one celebrated by a Silverado Hospice patient.

Mike Mulé, age 59, and his beautiful wife, Susan, were true soul mates. They adored each other and were looking forward to celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary on April 4th. But Mike had neuroendocrine cancer, and as his disease progressed it became clear that they shouldn’t wait.

Through special efforts from an organization called The Dream Foundation and support from the Silverado Hospice team, Mike and Susan got to have their special anniversary celebration. You can read all about this amazing experience, as told by the Silverado Hospice Social Worker, here.
