Carlos Rotolo brings a lifelong foundation in mechanical and operational expertise to his role as Director of Plant Operations at Silverado. He began his career as a mechanic with U-Haul before serving eight years in the United States Army as a tank turret mechanic, stationed in Germany. His military service instilled in him a strong sense of discipline, accountability, and commitment to operational excellence—principles that continue to guide his leadership today.
After completing his service, Carlos remained in Germany, where he met his wife and started his family before relocating to the Chicagoland area. There, he continued to grow his career in plant operations, leading teams and supporting facilities across multiple organizations before joining Silverado. He is dedicated to maintaining safe, efficient, and high-quality environments that support both residents and team members.
At Silverado, Carlos takes pride not only in operational performance, but also in building meaningful relationships with residents. He enjoys singing with them and occasionally playing the piano to bring an extra measure of joy to their day. Outside of work, Carlos enjoys billiards, frisbee golf, and bowling, and values community, craftsmanship, and shared experiences.
