As the weather cools and leaves change color, it’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and engage your loved one in physical activities.

My favorite way to enjoy the stunning autumn leaves is to take a walk through the park or woods. This is a great activity for seniors who enjoy exercising. It gets the blood moving in a setting surrounded by beautiful scenery. You can even collect a few leaves and use them to decorate your home with fall’s
best colors.

Another great outdoor opportunity is visiting an orchard and picking some apples, pumpkins or other available fruits and vegetables. This makes for a great activity for all ages and uplifts the soul! Bring back the fruit and bake delicious pies or make homemade jam for everyone to enjoy.

Autumn is also a popular time for fall festivals. Many communities host local art shows, music festivals, holiday events, farmer’s market gatherings and other festivities to keep you out and about and having fun!
