Meet Our Medical Director
Dr. Hicham Siouty
Practicing in the South Bay for the past 27 years, Hicham Siouty, MD is a board certified Internal Medicine Physician. The son of a diplomat, Dr. Siouty found his passion and inspiration for the art of medicine at an early age when his grandfather founded the first Medical School in the Middle East. After graduating from Baghdad University College of Medicine, he traveled to London, England where he continued his studies. Dr. Siouty later completed a research clerkship in trauma at UCLA-Westwood Emergency Medicine Department, internship at Grant Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, and an Internal Medicine residency at Rush St. Luke’s Program in Chicago, Illinois. He also has attended continuing education programs at Harvard Medical School and Mayo Clinic. Some of his other notable achievements include: several research awards, multiple publications in the peer reviewed literature, and recognition by colleagues of his expertise in Hypercholesterolemia, Heart Disease, Diabetes, Hypertension, Osteoporosis, Bipolar Disorders and Geriatric Medicine. He also remains a clinical instructor for the Nurse Practitioner program at UCLA.
Dr. Siouty was drawn to the diversity and the beauty of the South Bay community where he currently resides with his wife and three children. Beyond the joy of spending time with his patients, Dr. Siouty enjoys playing tennis, reading, traveling, and spending time with family, friends, and fund raising for charitable and worthy causes.
