Chilly Chili Cook-Off

Location : Bellingham

To beat the winter chill, Silverado Bellingham hosted its first-ever chili cook-off on January 18th. Twelve entries were scored on uniqueness, aroma, texture, flavor and spiciness. Three judges—resident, Hugh S., family member, Leah R., and Director of Plant Operations, Daniel Taylor—rated the chili, along with ballots submitted by residents and guests.

The first place chili was entered by Activities Assistant, Tish M.  Second place went to the Administrator, Laura Printy. Coming in at third place with her vegetarian chili was Director of Resident and Family services, Ali Mitchell.
